PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C.,to direct the respondent police to complete the investigation and to file charge sheet in Crime No.68 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police within a time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.68 of 2016 pending on the file of the respondent.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.68 of 2016 has been registered for the offences punishable under Sections 465, 468 and 471 IPC by the respondent police on 31.01.2016. But so far, the respondent police has not taken any action on the said complaint. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the investigation on the complaint given by the petitioner is substantially completed and final report will be filed shortly.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in the case in Crime No.68 of 2016 and file a final report within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
