16.07.2024 for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 342, 324 & 302 IPC altered into Sections 147, 148, 149, 342, 324, 201, 109, 120(b) and 302 IPC in Cr.No.190 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seek bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that due to previous enmity, the accused persons attacked the deceased with a long sword indiscriminately, due to which, the deceased died on the spot. Hence, the case.
3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submits that the petitioners herein were detained under the Act 14. 4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that detention order is not a bar to grant bail to the petitioners. 5.It is seen that the petitioners herein were detained under the Act 14 and hence, nothing survives in this petition. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
