Mr.S.Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondent.

2. The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.09.2015 to the respondent herein to enter the petitioner's name in the revenue records pertaining to S.No.491, Block No.21, admeasuring 0.01.0 Ares in Sengamangalam Village, Peravurani Taluk, Thanjavur District based on the free house site patta. 3.The petitioner, who is an agriculturist, was allotted a free housing site under 'Periyar Memorial Samathuvapuram and Welfare Scheme' by the respondent herein and was given an assignment in Na.Ka.No.1540/99/A4, dated 30.04.1999. Thereafter, the petitioner also constructed a thatched house and obtained an electricity connection and also paying the housing tax for the same. The petitioner has made representation, dated 07.09.2015 to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the respondent for entering his name in the Revenue Records. However, till today, the respondent has not acted on the same. Hence, the writ petition was filed.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader submits that the respondent would effect the name transfer in Revenue Records, based on the representation of the petitioner, dated 07.09.2015, and pass appropriate orders.

5.Recording the above statement, the respondent is directed to dispose of the representation dated 07.09.2015, after considering the same on merits, within a period of four weeks. 6.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
