For Respondent : Mr.P.Kottai Chamy, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.453 of 2021 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent Police, for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(B), 323 and 506(2) of IPC and Section 4 of Woman Harassment Act, 2002 in Crime No.453 of 2021, on the file of the respondent Police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant's daughter namely Pandieswari has illegal intimacy with one Anbuchelvan, due to which the petitioners abused the defacto complainant's son in filthy language and also attacked him with Aruval. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have not committed any

offence as alleged by the prosecution. He would further submit that the petitioners and the defacto complainant are neighbours. 4.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the the respondent police opposes this petition on the ground that the petitioners' attacked the defacto complainant's son with aruval and caused grievous injuries to him.

5. Considering the gravity of offence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
