Mr.Prabhu Ramachandran, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2.The petitioner seeks for disposal of his representation, wherein and whereby he wants re-connection of the water supply, which according to the petitioner, disconnected, even though there was no arrears of the water tax and other relevant tax payable to the property in dispute.
3.Needless to say that it is for the respondents, by giving him an opportunity of hearing, to pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law. Accordingly, the 2nd respondent is directed to pass such an order on the representation of the petitioner dated 01.10.2016, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
