ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to provide permission and adequate police protection to celebrate Arulmigu Sree Muthumariamman Temple Karakam festival on 28.09.2021 and 29.09.2021 by considering their representation, dated 20.09.2021. 2.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that based on the representation of the petitioner, dated 20.09.2021, the second respondent forwarded the same before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Sivagangai for conducting Peace Committee Meeting, since there are rival parties, namely, the third respondent herein with regard to celebrate the Temple festival of Arulmigu Sree 1/3
Muthumariamman Temple Karakam Festival and now, the enquiry is pending before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Sivagangai. 3.In view of the above, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Sivagangai is directed to complete the enquiry and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner and the third respondent are directed to co-operate for enquiry.
4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
