Respondent Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to change the patta pertaining to the property bearing Survey No.78/20 situated at Urappanoor Village 1st Bit, within the limit of Thirumangalam Sub-Registration in the petitioner name based on his representation made to the respondent on 16.07.2016.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent. 2.By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.According to the petitioner, he purchased the property in Survey No.78/20 situated at Urappanoor Village 1st Bit, by virtue of sale deed on 23.10.2014. At the time of registration of the sale deed, he has also paid necessary fees for transfer of patta. Now, the petitioner filed an application seeking transfer of patta before the respondent on 16.07.2016. So far no order has been passed by the respondent, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition.

4.In the above circumstances, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's application, dated 16.07.2016 and pass appropriate orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the petitioner is also directed to produce the receipt for payment of charges for the transfer of patta https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

before the respondent.

5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
