O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.04.2026, seeking appointment on compassionate grounds consequent to the demise of her husband. 2.This matter was earlier listed on 12.06.2026 and was adjourned to enable the learned Government Counsel to obtain instructions. 3.Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, Mr.M.Dinesh Hari Sudarsan, learned Government Counsel (Civil Side) appearing for the respondents, submitted that the claim of the petitioner has already been considered and her name has been placed at Serial No. 73 in the seniority list maintained in the District Collectorate. The same has also been communicated to the petitioner through letter dated 06.02.2025. It is further submitted that the Government is presently following State-wise seniority and, accordingly, the petitioner has been assigned IFHRMS ID No.41020962858, and she will be provided with appointment as and when her turn comes in the said seniority list. 2/4

4.In light of the above submission, no further orders are required to be passed in the present writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is closed, granting liberty to the petitioner to pursue her claim in accordance with the seniority list already uploaded on the concerned portal. If the petitioner has any grievance with regard to her position in the said seniority list, it is open to her to work out her remedy in the manner known to law.
