Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the seventh respondent herein to implement its notice dated 17.03.2011 issued in Na.Ka.No.10142/2010/E1, in the light of by considering the petitioner's representation dated 29.12.2015 signed along with other similarly placed persons within a stipulated time as that may be fixed by this Court.

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. When the matter was taken up hearing, the learned Government Advocate submitted that Bodinayakkanur Municipality had already handed over the land to the Tamilnadu Slum Clearance Board. It is further submitted that the project has already been sanctioned and thereafter, works could not progress on account of filing of a case before the Hon'ble Division Bench with regard to finalising the list of beneficiaries.

3. This Court therefore directs the seventh respondent to intimate the petitioner about the status of these developments within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. This Writ petition stands disposed of, accordingly. No costs.
