The petitioner has approached this Court that the respondent police is harassing her under the guise of an enquiry. 2.The learned Government Advocate(Criminal side) submits that the petitioner's brother one Kathiresan is an accused in Crime No.706 of 2024. The respondent police in search of the said Kathiresan, have verified with the petitioner and the same was projected, as if the respondent police are harassing her.

3.It appears that the respondent police are searching for the petitioner's brother, who is accused in Crime No.706 of 2024. However, the petitioner claims that she is a single woman living with her 10 year old child. In the event, if the petitioner is not having any connection in Crime No.706 of 2024, the respondent police shall not harass the petitioner. At the same time, the petitioner is also expected to co-operate with the Investigation Officer to furnish the details about the absconding accused in Crime No.706 of 2024.
