This petition is filed seeking for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 25.10.2016 and to give police protection to the petitioner's life and limb.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents. 3.The learned Government Advocate would submit that the petition enquiry is pending and on summons, the petitioner shall approach the second respondent police with necessary documents and the second respondent police will give protection only to the life and limb of the petitioner.

Advocate, this Writ Petition is disposed of. The second respondent shall take action on the representation of the petitioner, dated 25.10.2016 on merits and in accordance with law and also to give police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner.
