For Respondent : Mr.Kr.Bharathi Kannan, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.1916 of 2020 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

2. The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 147, 148, 294(b), 364(A) and 506(ii) of I.P.C., in Crime No.1916 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

3. The case of the prosecution is that due to money dispute, the petitioner along with other accused attacked the accused and took him into the car when was going to the temple at Muthalugupatty and threatened him to repay the amounts, which was received by him. Hence, the case has been registered.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) points out that there are as many as three cases are pending against the petitioner.

5. Taking note of the bad antecedents of the petitioner, This Court is not inclined to grant relief to the petitioner. The criminal original petition stands dismissed.
