The petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Certiorari, to quash the proceedings of the first respondent passed in order in Na.Ka.No.A2/16596/2008, dated 01.11.2016.

2.Heard Mr.V.Illanchezian, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4.
3.By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
4.It seems that aggrieved over the order of cancellation of patta by the second respondent, the sixth respondent has preferred an appeal before the first respondent. During the pendency of the appeal, the first respondent has granted interim stay. Challenging the said order, the present writ petition is filed. 5.Considering the facts of this case, the parties are directed to maintain Status-quo as on date, till the decision is taken by the first respondent. The first respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the 6th respondent dated 18.10.2016, as well as the revision petition of Mrs.Ramaniganthammal, dated 31.03.2008, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
