Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India directing the respondents herein to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.10.2016 to extend the benefit of the Chief Minister's Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme within a reasonable time as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

The writ petition has been filed seeking a direction, directing the respondents herein to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.10.2016 to extend the benefit of the Chief Minister's Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme within a reasonable time as may be fixed by this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.According to the petitioner, he is a member of the Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme and on 30.09.2016, he had undergone a heart surgery at Apollo Hospital, which is one of the network hospitals. He has also paid entire medical expenses. Under the said circumstances, he has filed an application before the District Collector, seeking refund of the medical expenses spent by him. Since no order has been passed, the present writ petition has been filed.

3.Heard the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 and the learned counsel appearing for the fifth respondent.

4.Admittedly, the District Monitoring and Grievance Committee, headed by the District Collector is the proper authority to consider the grievance of the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner is directed to make a representation before the above said committee within a period two weeks from today and on receipt of the same, the District Monitoring and Grievance Committee is directed to consider the representation and pass suitable orders, within a period of 6 weeks thereafter.

5.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
