Respondents PRAYER:Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the order of proceedings No.Pa.Mu.P.1/5237/19, dated 14.11.2019 issued by the 2nd respondent herein, quash the same and consequently direct the 1st and 3rd respondents herein to consider the petitioner representation dated 20.12.2019 and grant patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of the property viz., Punja land measuring to an extent of 26 Kuzhi out of 39 Kuzhi, comprised in Survey No.294/24 situated at Poyyavayal Village, Kalathur Group, Karaikudi Taluk, Sivagangai District. ORDER
When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr.M.Karuppasamy, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that as against the impugned order, dated 14.11.2019, a revision petition has been filed, in terms of G.O. (Ms).No.409, Revenue SSI (1) Department, dated 02.07.2008, before the 1st respondent / the Commissioner of Land Administration, Chennai. According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, a copy of the revision petition, which is pending before the 1st respondent for consideration, has also been enclosed in the typed set of documents.

2.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, despite the revision petition being filed on 20th December, 2019, the same has not been disposed of as on date.
3.When objection was raised on behalf of the respondents that there is second revisional remedy is available before the 1st respondent, a statement of fact was submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner and he has also produced a copy of the acknowledgement of the second revision being filed before the 1st respondent.
4.At this, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner requested this Court to direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the revision petition pending before him, within the time to be stipulated by this Court.
5.In consideration of the above pleadings, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with a direction as under:- The 1st respondent is directed to dispose of the revision petition filed by the petitioner herein, dated 20th December, 2019 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
