PRAYER : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to issue patta for the land situated in No.676/2 to an extent of 1 Acre 67 Cents and property situated at 680/2A to an extent of 1 Acre 10 cents totally measuring 2 Acres 77 cents in which western side 58 cents wherein Eastern side 37 1/2 cents at Solai Meenakshi Nagar, Muthuthevanpatti Hamlet, Veerapandi Village, Periyakulam Taluk, Theni District by considering the representation dated 16.12.2022 within a time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

The petitioner has submitted a representation dated 16.12.2022, before the respondent/the Tahsildar, Periyakulam, seeking grant of patta in her name, for the lands in survey Nos.676/2 and 680/2A. Since the said representation has not been considered by the respondent, she filed this writ petition for a Mandamus, directing the respondent to grant patta in her name.

2. Ms.D.Farjana Ghoushia, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondent, submits that the petitioner's representation was considered and rejected by order dated 06.07.2023.

3. In view of the said submission, this writ petition is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to challenge the said order dated 06.07.2023 before the concerned authority. The respondent is directed to furnish a copy of the order dated 06.07.2023 to the petitioner, within a period of one week. No costs.
