ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition filed, under Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders, to call for the records relating to the case in Crime No.436 of 2020 on the file of the first respondent and quash the same.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today (i.e.,21.06.2023), there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner as well as the second respondent.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State would submit that the first respondent, after completing the investigation, has laid the final report and the case was taken on file in C.C.No.267 of 2023 and the same is pending on the file of the Court of the Judicial Magistrate, Andipatti.
3. Since the charge sheet has already been filed and the case was taken on file, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition. Hence, the 2/4
Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the charge sheet, if so advised. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
