Taluk, Madurai District, by considering the petitioners application dated 19.05.2023, within the period stipulated by this Court.

2. The properties in S.No.221/3 Therkutheru Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District belonged the petitioner's ancestors and thereafter to his father T.C.Karuppannan. The petitioner's father died on 28.10.2014, leaving behind the petitioner and other legal heirs. The petitioner and the other legal heirs are in peaceful possession and enjoyment of the properties. While so, the petitioner decided to survey and to demarcate the boundaries of his property and therefore, he approached the respondents and submitted an application on 19.05.2023, along with requisite fee for survey and demarcation of the boundaries. As no action was taken on the petitioner's application, the petitioner approached this Court and filed the above writ petition for the aforesaid relief.

3. Though the petitioner filed filed an application as early as on 29.05.2023, thereafter the petitioner did not take any steps in pursuance of the application. The petitioner has filed this writ petition for writ of mandamus without even submitting a representation to the respondents 2/4

calling upon them to pass orders on his application. Therefore, I am not inclined to issue mandamus. In any event, the petitioner is at liberty to give a fresh representation to the respondents, wait for reasonable time and thereafter approach this Court, if necessary.

4. With the above observation, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
