: Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issue of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to direct the respondents to produce the body of the detenue namely, Parvaki, D/o.Kaliyaperumal, aged 18 years before this Court and set her at liberty.

This petition has been filed by the mother to produce her daughter/detenue, viz., Parkavi before this Court.

2. The second respondent police produced the detenue before this Court.

3. We enquired the detenue named Parkavi, who is aged 18 years. She stated that her mother wanted her married against her wishes and therefore, she went away from the home and was staying at Thiruppur, after taking an employment. She further stated that she rejoined her mother a week back and she continues to live with her mother. We enquired the petitioner, who is the mother of the detenue and advised her not to get the detenue married against her wishes. We https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

H.C.P.(MD)No.771 of 2019 advised her to ensure that her daughter completes her studies and settles down in life.

4. In view of the above development, no further orders are required to be passed in this matter and after recording the submission of the parties and the submissions made on either side, this Habeas Corpus Petition is disposed of.
