(Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.) The prayer made in this Writ Petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 05.03.2018 and direct the respondents 1 to 4 to erect a memorial/Manimandapam over 52 cents of land located in Survey No.40/1 in Vilathikulam Village, Vilathikulam Taluk, Tuticorin District in commemoration of the services of Sri Nallappa Swamigal. 2.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the fourth respondent, on instructions, submitted that a monument of Sri Nallappa Swamigal has already been constructed in an extent of 21.5 ares of Government poramboke land by the Public Works Department and it has been maintained by the Department of Public Relation and the balance lands are occupied by the Government Offices and Public Departments and therefore, it is not feasible to erect a Manimandapam, as sought for by the petitioner. 2/4

In view of the above said submission, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks liberty to approach the authorities concerned along with supporting materials for redressal of his grievance. 4.Granting such liberty, this Writ Petition stands closed.
