The prayer in the writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to rectify the discrepant entries in the petitioner's service book relating to the period of suspension undergone by the petitioner from 24.12.2010 to 03.02.2011 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 05.04.2016.
2. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Sadesh Kumar, the learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. Though such a prayer was sought for in the writ petition, the learned counsel for the petitioner today submits that the petitioner would be satisfied, if a direction is given by this Court to consider and pass orders on the representation given by the petitioner, on 05.04.2016, to the first respondent.
5. Considering the said submission and also considering the relief presently sought for, it is innocuous in nature, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to take up and decide the petitioner's representation dated 05.04.2016, regarding the removal of discrepancies entered wrongly by the second respondent at the service register of the petitioner and pass suitable orders by giving administrative instructions to the second respondent, if the petitioner's case is accepted, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and in this regard, if opportunity of being heard is required, the same can also be given to the petitioner before passing final order.
6. With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
