ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Bodinayakanur, Theni District to expedite the trial pending in C.C.No.138 of 2016.

2. The petitioner is the third accused in the above said case. According to the petitioner, the criminal case in Crime No.415 of 2012 against the petitioner and others was registered in the year 2012. On completion of investigation, final report was filed in the year 2015 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Bodinayakanur, Theni District and the same was taken on file in the year 2016 in C.C.No.138 of 2016. The petitioner is continuously appearing before the trial Court. But, the matter is pending for more than three two years without any progress. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that now the matter is posted for trial on 11.09.2019.

4. Considering the fact that the matter is posted for trial, the learned Magistrate is directed to expedite the trial in C.C.No.138 of 2016 and dispose of the same within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
