ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police to grant permission to conduct cultural programme on 18.08.2019 in connection with temple Festival at Arulmigu Sri Kaliaman Thirukkovil is situated at Periyapottalpatti, Anaiyur Post, Sivakasi Taluk, Virudhunagar District and to provide adequate police protection based on the petitioner's representation dated 27.07.2019.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner made a representation to the respondent seeking permission to conduct cultural program in the temple festival. The said representation was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed.
3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondents submitted that in the same village, in respect of same temple, three separate cultural programme sought to be conducted and already permission has been granted to one group by the second respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4.Considering the fact that already permission has been granted to another person to conduct cultural programme, the respondent cannot deny permission to the petitioner to conduct cultural programme. Hence, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 27.07.2019 and pass orders by imposing necessary conditions to maintain law and order. 5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
