ORDER

The prayer in the writ petition is for a mandamus forbearing the respondents 1 to 6 from disbursing the terminal benefits to the respondent No.7 without settling the maintenance claim of the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 5. In view of the consent given by both sides, the main writ petition itself is disposed of.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though such a larger relief sought for in the writ petition, the petitioner would be satisfied, if a direction is given to the 4th respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 29.07.2016.

4. Considering the said submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 4th respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 29.07.2016 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently connected W.M.P.No.17051/2016 is closed.
