2. The petitioner has filed this petition praying to grant leave to file criminal appeal before this Court as against the acquittal judgment passed by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Special Court for Prevention of Corruption Act Cases, Tirunelveli in Special Case No.23 of 2014, dated 29.10.2024.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the trial Court acquitted the first accused based on the observation that the sanction obtained to prosecute the first accused is invalid among other grounds. He also submitted that the minor contradictions in the evidence of the material witnesses have been given undue significance and if appreciated properly, that might reverse the Judgment. 2/4
