2. The petitioner seeks for disposal of her representation dated 25.10.2016, wherein and whereby, she sought for grant of
free house site patta for 3 cents at Natham S.No.61 of Sakkimangalam Village, Madurai East Taluk, Madurai.
3. It appears that when the petitioner earlier requested for grant of patta in respect of 7 cents, the same was rejected by the Tahsildar, through his proceedings dated 25.07.2016, on the reason that the patta can be granted only to property having maximum extent of 3 cents and not as sought for by the petitioner in respect of 7 cents. Thereafter, the petitioner made the present representation, wherein she is seeking for grant of patta only in respect of 3 cents. Therefore, it is for the third respondent to consider the said request of the petitioner and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the rival claimant, if any, as well. Such exercise shall be done by the third respondent, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
