O R D E R

The present Writ Petition is filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's application dated 23.07.2024 filed for issuance of patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of the land admeasuring 1 Acre and 16 Cents comprised in S.No.623/3 situated at Keelarajakularaman Village Group, Vembakottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District. Since the said application is pending right from the year 2024 without being considered, the petitioner is seeking speedy disposal of the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the Government of Tamilnadu.

3. This Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, is directing the third respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's application dated 23.07.2024, after issuing notice to the Page No. 2 of 4

petitioner as well as the rival claimants, if any, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
