O R D E R

This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in C.C. No.271 of 2018 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ambasamudram, Tirunelveli District, for an alleged offences under Sections 294(b) and 506(ii) of IPC .

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners as well as the respondent submitted that the matter has been settled before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre, attached to this Court.

3. It is seen from the records, before the Mediation proceedings, the parties were settled their issues amicably into a settlement agreement and hence, keeping this petition would not serve any purpose.

4. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the proceedings in C.C. No.271 of 2018 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ambasamudram, Tirunelveli District is quashed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
