ORDER

This writ petition is filed for a Mandamus, directing the respondents to determine the property tax payable for the property situated at No.18, T.B.Road, Bharathidasan Salai, Madurai - 625 001, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 08.04.2022 within a stipulated time.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has made a representation dated 08.04.2022 to the respondents to determine the property tax payable for the property situated at No.18, T.B.Road, Bharathidasan Salai, Madurai - 625 001. However, the same is still pending before the respondents. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

Mr.S.Vinayak, learned Standing Counsel, who takes notice for the respondents, submits that the respondents have received the representation sent by the petitioner and the property tax can be assessed only after measuring the property and the respondents would complete the said process within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. Considering the said representation, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to measure the property and assess the quantum of property tax, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
