Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to provide an adequate compensation of Rs.10,00,000/- (Ten Lakhs) to the petitioner's family for alleged by Electric burns in second daughter, namely, A.Uvasri aged about 10 years, due to electrocution which was caused by the negligence of the respondents and also initiate appropriate disciplinary proceedings against the persons working under fourth respondent, who were responsible for the said accident for failing in their duty.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is disposed of at the time of admission after hearing the 2/5

learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Advocate for the first respondent, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents 2 to 4 and learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the fifth respondent.

2. The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition for Mandamus to direct the third respondent to pay compensation for the injury caused to the petitioner's second daughter, who was aged about 8 years, at the time of accident, due to electrocution.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's second daughter suffered injury due to electrocution on 19.05.2023. However, no FIR was lodged. The petitioner's daughter suffered severely and is yet to recover.

4. He has produced the photographs of the injury and the impact on his daughter, who is now aged about 10 years.

5. Considering the fact that nature of the injury, as per the photographs shown during hearing, which appears to be severe, Court directs the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 13.02.2025 and 3/5

dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
