Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to grant post approval of the petitioner subsequent qualification ie., 8th standard and consequently, direct the 2nd respondent to promote the petitioner as an Office Assistant or any other equivalent post as per his correct seniority based upon his representation dated 02.08.2016.

O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent approve the petitioner's qualification and also promote him as an Office Assistant by considering his representation dated 02.08.2016.

2. Mr.A.K.Baskarapandian, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4.In view of the limited scope of the prayer, without going into the merits of the matter, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 02.08.2016 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
