[Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.] Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, submitted that in view of the subsequent development that the Central Government has amended the relevant Rules enhancing the fine amount as against the traffic violators, the relief sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous.

2. Recording the above submission of the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
