This petition is filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate Court No.IV at Tirunelveli, to expedite the trial in C.C.No.820 of 2020 within a stipulated period as fixed by this Court.

2.It is the case of the petitioner that C.C.No.820 of 2020 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate Court No.IV, Tirunelveli, is pending from the year 2020 and therefore, the petitioner filed this petition to expedite the trial.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the case was posted on 24.08.2022 for further examination of witnesses LW8 to LW13. 4.Taking into consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned Judicial Magistrate Court No.IV, Tirunelveli, is directed to complete the trial and dispose of C.C.No.820 of 2020, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already disposed of.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
