O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry on the basis of petitioner's representation dated 20.10.2020.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has purchased a second hand Innova Car bearing Reg.No.TN 22 BC 1892, from Aathavan Car dealers, Chennai for 1/3

a sum of Rs.7,50,000/- through the 3rd respondent herein and paid Rs.4,00,000/-. For non-payment of the balance amount, the 3rd respondent seized the Car from the petitioner in the year 2013. The grievance of the petitioner is that eventhough the petitioner produced documents to the 4th respondent, they continuously harass the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner sent representation to the 1st and 2nd respondents on 20.10.2020. But no action has been taken. Hence, this petition.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent police, on instructions, would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry was conducted and during the enquiry, the petitioner had given a statement that he will approach the appropriate Forum for his remedy and no further action is necessary against his complaint. Accordingly, the complaint was closed on 18.11.2020. 4.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents.

5.Recording the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor,(Crl.side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
