This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to provide adequate police protection to the Kumbabhishegam function of Sri Bathrakaliamman Temple, to be held on 01.09.2019 at Survey No.293/8, Chinnakatankudi Village, Aruppukottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 01.08.2019.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that, the petitioner's villagers are proposed to celebrate the Kumbabhishegam function on 01.09.2019, to the above said temple. Even though there are so many communities, now, the third respondent is causing trouble and preventing the petitioner's villagers to conduct the Kumbabhishegam function. Hence, the petitioner filed a representation to the first and second respondents to give police protection. That was not considered so far. Hence, the present petition has been filed seeking the aforesaid relief. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Earlier, notice was ordered to the third respondent and

even though notice was served on him, none appeared on his behalf.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the first and second respondents, on instructions, submitted that the parties have resolved their dispute between themselves and they are agreed to conduct the Kumbabhishegam function jointly.

5. In the above circumstances, the second respondent is directed to give police protection to conduct the Kumbabhishegam function in Sri Bathrakaliamman Temple, Chinnakatankudi Village, Aruppukottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District, to be held on 01.09.2019, peacefully.
