Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to peruse the petitioner's representations dated 09.04.2014, 16.04.2015 along with the documents to issue patta in favour of the petitioner for the house land property at Ward No.5, Survey No.371 Kalmadam Street, which is situated within the Natham Panchayat.

Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

2. By consent of parties, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.This Writ Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to issue patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of the property situated at Ward No.5, Survey No.371, Kalmadam Street, Natham Panchayat, based on his representations dated 09.04.2014 16.04.2015.

4. It appears that the petitioner made a representation to the respondents for grant of patta in respect of the property referred to above claiming to be his ancestral property. The grievance of the petitioner is that such representation made by the petitioner as early as on 16.04.2015, has not been considered so far. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. Therefore, without expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, I only direct the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 16.04.2015 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
