Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent.

2. By consent of parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

3.This Writ Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by one Pakia Mooppar and others, claiming to be cultivating tenants in respect of the property referred to therein, wherein the petitioner was arrayed as the respondent. It is further seen that the said appeal is of the year 2008 and said to be pending all these years.

4. Therefore, without expressing any view on the merits of the appeal and the claim of the petitioner, I only direct the respondent to dispose of the appeal in A.P.No.14 of 2008, on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the parties to said proceedings, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if the appeal is not disposed of till this date.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
