No. 4995 of 2015 to the change of patta which is in the name of 3rd respondent to the petitioners' name relating to the property in Old S.No.583 and New S.No. 876/41 Ward 3 Patta No. 1142, Srirampuram Group, Kodalvavi Village, Ottanchatram Sub-Registration District Madurai District.

Mr.A.Muthukaruppan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2.

2. The petitioners seek for a Mandamus, directing the first respondent to complete the proceedings in R.D.O.No.4995 of 2015 arising out of patta proceedings.

3. The grievance of the petitioners is that the said appeal is

pending before the first respondent without passing final orders.

4. Therefore, without expressing any view on the merits of the appeal and the claim made by the petitioners, I only direct the first respondent to dispose of the appeal proceedings in R.D.O. No.4995 of 2015 and pass appropriate orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the parties to the appeal, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
