ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.10.2016 seeking fixation of time scale of pay for the 4th respondent with effect from 26.05.2003 and for consequential payment of arrears. 2.Heard both sides.

3.Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer in this writ petition, without going to the merits of the case, this Court is inclined to pass the following order;

"The third respondent is directed to forward the petitioner's representation dated 17.10.2016 to the first respondent and on such receipt, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.10.2016 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. However, it is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits or the entitlements of the petitioner."

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No Costs.
