For Respondent : Mr.T.Senthil Kumar, Additional Public Prosecutor PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.403 of 2021 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused No.4, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii)(B) and 29(1) of NDPS Act, 1985 in Crime No.403 of 2021, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and other accused were found in illegal possession of 10Kgs of Ganja. Therefore, the present case came to be registered against the petitioner.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been arrayed as accused based on the confession statement of the co-accused and no contraband has been recovered 1/3

from the petitioner. He further submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that after getting interim order from this Court, the petitioner did not appear before the respondent police for enquiry. He would further submit that apart from this case, the petitioner has involved in the following crimes:- S.
