The writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to grant permission for conducting Kabadi Tournament every year at Petchiyamman Ground, Thirupparankundram, Madurai District, from 10.12.2016 at 08.00 pm to 11.12.2016 onwards, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 06.12.2016.

2.Mr.K.P.Krishnadass, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondent. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) would submit that the representation given by the petitioner seeking permission

for conducting Kabadi Tournament, was rejected by the respondent police on 08.12.2016 and the same was also communicated to the petitioner.

5.Recording the above submission, this petition is dismissed as infructuous, giving liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy before the appropriate forum in the manner known to law. No costs.
