This Civil Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to condone the delay of 575 days in filing the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal in C.M.A. (MD)SR No.51897 of 2025 before this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the 2nd respondent, and perused the affidavit filed in support of this petition.

3. The name of the 1st respondent has been printed in the cause list.

4. The learned counsel for the 2nd respondent submitted that the petition may be allowed, but the petitioner is not entitled to interest for the default period of 575 days.

5. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit, and also considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the 2nd 2/4

respondent, this Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed. The petitioner is not entitled to interest for the default period of 575 days.
