ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to give police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner on the basis of the representation made by the petitioner dated 14.09.2021. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the mother of the third respondent herein. The third respondent got married to one Muthupattan and he is working in abroad. The petitioner is the second wife of the deceased Velmurugan and his first wife namely Parvathi is also residing with the petitioner. It appears that there is some dispute between the mother and the daughter regarding the property issue. Based upon which, a representation has been made by the petitioner seeking police protection.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based upon the representation made by the petitioner, enquiry was undertaken in C.No.371 of 2021 and during the course of enquiry, it https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.14494 of 2021 was found that there was a wordy quarrel between the mother and daughter regarding the property dispute. Both parties were advised to workout their remedy through civil proceedings and the complaint has been closed on 25.09.2021.

4.Since it is a dispute between the mother and daughter. In view of the facts and circumstances, the question of granting police protection does not arise. Both parties are directed to workout their remedy through civil proceedings.

5.With the above said liberty, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
