The present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining tot he impugned detention order passed by the second respondent made in his proceedings in M.H.S.Confdl.No.122 of 2024 dt 04.07.2024 in detaining the detenu U/s.2(f) of the TN Act 14 of 1982 as a Goonda and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu,namely, Elangamani, son of Esakkimuthu @ Esakkimuthupandi, Male, aged about 29 years, who is detained in Central Prison, Palayamkottai, before this Court and set him at liberty.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of G.O.Rt.No.5907, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIV) Department, dated 27.08.2024, would state that the impugned detention order has been revoked by the Government. 2/4

3. In view of the same, nothing survives for further adjudication. This Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
