Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to cansider the petitioner's representation dated 06.09.2021.

ORDER

Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent. 2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in S.C.No.21 of 2021 on the file of the Additional District and Sessions Judge, Pattukottai. The petitioner had given a representation, dated 06.09.2021 to the respondent for the appointment of a Special Public Prosecutor. He had also named his choice.

3.Since it is not a case arising under the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (POA) Act, it is not for this Court to issue any positive Mandamus. It is for the respondent to take a call in the matter. The respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass necessary orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
