ORDER

The petitioners are accused Nos.1 and 2 in C.C.No.204 of 2022 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Valliyoor. They have moved this petition seeking a direction to the Judicial Magistrate Court, Valliyoor, to 1/4

dispose of the case in C.C.No.204 of 2022 within a stipulated time.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that even the case was listed yesterday, i.e. on 07.07.2025, however, the trial Court, without insisting the respondent Police to produce the witnesses, has simply adjourned the case to 06.10.2025.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that the case is posted for trial on 06.10.2025 and summon has also been issued to L.W.1 to L.W.3.

4. Considering the said submission, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent Police to produce the witnesses without any delay on 06.10.2025. The learned Judicial Magistrate, Valliyoor, shall endeavour to conclude the trial in C.C.No.204 of 2022 as expeditiously as possible.
