O RDER This petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.261 of 2022 and file the charge sheet within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.According to the learned counsel, the petitioner has filed a complaint against the accused, based on which a case in Crime No.261 of 2022 was filed on the file of the respondent police for the offence under Sections 147, 294(b), 323, 324, 341, 506(2), 307 and 379 IPC. It is submitted that the police have not completed the investigation so far and there is an inordinate delay, thereby sought for a direction to fix the time frame for completion of the investigation. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) on the other hand submits that so far 5 witnesses were examined and investigation is in progress and he sought for four weeks time to complete the investigation. The same is recorded. 2/4

4.This Petition is therefore disposed of with a direction to the respondent police to complete the rest of the investigation and file the final report within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
