Alleging that the petitioner's husband by name Manivel, aged about 48 years, found missing, the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the respondent police. Since no action has been taken to secure the detenu, the present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that after filing the Habeas Corpus Petition, the detenu has been released. Hence, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.

3. Recording the above said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
