O RDER This petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.13 of 2022 dated 09.06.2022 and file the final report within the stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court. 2.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that on account of the pendency of this petition, which is filed on 06.07.2023, lot of hardship is being caused and there is every possibility of the witnesses being run over. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) on the other hand submits that as of now, the police have recorded the statements of 6 witnesses and the investigation is still in progress.

4.Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the respondent police are directed to complete the investigation and file the final report within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
