This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.V, Madurai to dispose of C.C.No.780 of 2022 within a time frame being fixed by this Court.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that on a complaint given by the defacto complainant, a case in C.C.No.780 of 2022 has been registered and the charges have been framed on 14.10.2022. However, the trial has not been taken up.

3. The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the respondent Police, on the other hand, submits that subsequent to framing of charges, P.W.1 was examined and the matter is posted on 03.08.2023 for examination of L.W.2 to L.W.4.

4. Considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the respondent Police, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned 2/4

Judicial Magistrate No.V, Madurai to dispose of C.C.No.780 of 2022 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
